Scott is a third generation farmer in Dixie La. Ryan Farms has been growing produce since 1993. What started out as a experiment quickly turned into a full time endeavor and has grown into one of the largest produce operations in the area. Scott and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Caleb and Mallory. The Ryan family has always called this area their home.

Ryan Farms is famous for their watermelons, gigantic cantaloupes and the cleanest purple hull peas you can find. Customers and vendors come from miles around to "get 'em" before they're gone. Ryan Farms is one of the few places in the Arklatex where what you buy is grown right there on the farm. In most cases, what you buy at the Ryan Farms produce stand was picked by Scott's crew that morning or the day before.

Some of the produce you will find includes: watermelon, cantaloupes, purple hull peas, tomatoes, sweet corn, and peaches.
